Zire 71 Stays On

Good afternoon to all, i have a zire 71 and my palm wont sinchronize with cradle or cable, and it contiously comes on an drains my battery. Help what can I do. :confused:

What flavor windows or computer do you have? Did you set preference to always on of off in 2 minutes?

Battery life may be ending on the Z 71, do not synchronize if the battery level is weak or the unit is not on a charger.

Hey there phil the problem does not lie with the computer or the os that i am using, the problem is with the palm itself, it does charge, does maintain the charge, am able to use the handheld, the thing is that it cannot sincronize be it with the cable or cradle, and when i mean that it comes on, is that after a while that i turn it off, it just comes on, i turn it off a couple seconds pass by and it comes on again, this is continously until the battery drains. By the way do you live in Alhambra, California cause I used to live in San Gabriel.

There is a small portion of Alhambra that is south of the SB. Frwy.

Try cleaning the contacts before hotsyncing next time.

Supposedly the camera slider on the Z-71 will wear out the ribbon intermally, don't know if that is the problem either....
