I was wondering what to do if the camera flash dies...i regulary have to change the flash cube in my analog canon camera...but the flash unit in the NZ90 is builtin!
If you use the camera often, the flash is going to die way before the battery-lifetime will be exhausted.
Would you have to send the whole device in? Of what use is the exchangeable battery then if you have to send in the device anyways sooner or later?

I don't think it's really an issue. Most middle range digital cameras have a built in flash. I have never heard of them having problems(with the flash) wearing out. I have had a Olympus 510 for 1000+ pictures and it's still going strong. :)

yep, I too have an Olympus point and shoot and a Minolta 35mm, both with a built in flash about the same size as the NZ's... my Minolta is over 12years old and has been used for countless photos ...the flash is still great!

Still id wish they had included an exchangeable flash. Shouldnt have been a problem to implement a plug-in flash.

how many cameras have plug in flashes?
my 3 year old digital camera canon s110 has flash built in and it's taken thousands of pictures and the flash still goes strong.
I don't think you have to worry about the flash in your NZ.

Hello There,
About the flash : Do you know how to disable it all the time ?
Actually, when Clie Camera S starts, the flash is always "on". Every time I use Clie Camera S, I must disable it by clicking the flash icon .
I can't find how to do in the setup screen. :(
Thank you,
Denony

Do a search on Camera and you'll find the instruction how to disable the flash on start-up.
I wrote it but forgot which discussion I put it in.
Sorry

Run the camera applications, change the flash to disable, save the settings so that the next time you launch the camera, it'll start without flash option. Turn on the flash when needed.
Unfortunately, I don’t understand what do you mean with "save the settings". :( How do you save the settings ?
Thank you.
Denony.

Just go to Settings page in CLIE Camera S, you should find a save settings option, you can check the flash mode check-box.
