Can tell me which is the best e-book reader to buy. I am looking for one that has a large selection of books reasonable priced.

Do a search and you will see many threads and opinions.
For selection Palm Reader is by far the best choice.

Plus, if you like the Palm Reader, there is the Palm Reader Pro... I'm not sure but I think that the Palm Reader Pro lets you upload e-book to you MS...

I second Palm Reader Pro. Solely the reason why I bought my NX60 in the first place. The audio player, video player, etc was merely a plus (^_^).
IMHO, Palm Digital Media has the greatest selection of ebooks out there at the moment. Not free ebooks though. If you are looking for free ebooks, perhaps other readers would suit you better.
With the Pro's font smoothing and additional (optional) font packs, combined with the NX60's huge hi-res screen, reading ebooks in landscape format makes a wonderful reading experience.

I did a search, and picked out some of the older threads you may find helpful ~ they contain discussion about various readers as well as ebook links (Bookmark them--ebook reading on your PDA is addictive!) Enjoy!

"Best" is truely subjective.
You need to decide what functions you need and want. For example:
Do you need autoscrolling?
Do you need to be able to view "extended" Docs ala TealDoc (fancy formatting & images)?
Do you want tons of bells & whistles?
Do you want to be able to also edit the Doc files?
Do you need a corresponding Desktop component that will let you "clip" text into Doc files?
Do you need to read "protected" eBooks?
Do you require a small memory footprint?
Your mileage will definatly vary on this.
The great thing about almost every Palm Doc reader app is that you can try it out in some form before you buy. My advice is to download a bunch and try 'em out.
You can typically install multiple Doc readers to compare head-to-head. Just be aware that (very rarely) some Doc readers don't always play nicely with others. Just be sure to back up your Doc files. Of course, you do this anyway, right?
I have tried 'em all--literally, and for me, HandStory won out because of its versatility.
Check out the trial demos of WordSmith and iSilo

I use MoboPocket ProReader. I have tried many and find the U>I. to be the most asthetically pleasing. But as has been said, this is a subjective matter. Try them all and decide for yourself.

You're always doing searches for someone else. :)

They'd already been told they needed to search, so, as I had the time (I don't always) to do some 'legwork' . . . I did . . . ;) I did it today in another thread, too...that one was pretty fun, actually.

I don't know....It gets pretty old after a while.....especially Ebooks. Hopefully we won't have to do this. (http://www.cliesource.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=534)

I've found different products are good for different purposes.
1. Palmreader for reading plain text books.
2. iSilo for reading nicely formatted HTML stuff.
3. Plucker for reading books that I want to be able to search through quickly. (Plucker has a superfast armlet search and has multiple-term-in-paragraph searching. But this version of Plucker isn't released yet and I'm still fixing some bugs in the autoscroll.)

I use Deepreader. The smooth scroll is great, and I love how the fonts cool. It doesn't have much over the other readers, but nothing else has gotten me excited enough to take DeepReader off my machine.

whats the thing about handstory not being able to edit doc files. Its dumb. Does Isilo enable that?
HS is a great reader with a great interface and great web clips but this not editing doc files thing is a drag...

I like Isilo the best. It just seems to fit logically with how I do transfers.
