Interested in knowing if this is a significant update, i.e. fixes crashes many have reported? I'm not going back . . . happy with ZL! :D

Well,
I installed it onto my 760c this afternoon and have been fiddling with it a bit tonight.
The biggest thing I've noticed so far is that it's got a few more features in the background image department and memory/battery meters (no more pop-up window when you click either one of them)...but I'm still kinda new to YiShow too (I finally dumped SilverScreen when I moved from my Handspring to this Clié).
I don't think it's a ground-breaking upgrade, but I might be missing things yet. Others may notice things I haven't found.

I'm still toying with the ZL demo, but I am still liking the looks of YiShow (besides, I already shelled out the shekels for YiShow. :))

I haven't had any crash problems with v5.3 either, but I understand it was mainly problems with OS5 machines?

Hehe...I guess I'm gonna be sticking with v5.3 for a while yet. I just finished a morning-long headache session that turned out being caused by a bug in v5.5.

Read about it here (apps forum):

One question/glitch in 5.5-

I USED to be able to list and click on a .pdb DOC stored in RAM and YiShow would open and read it- but it does not any longer.

I can still move it to the Memory Stick and it opens perfectly, but either I cannot figure out how to or it will no longer automatically read a DOC in RAM?!?

Tried Yishow 5.5 (on my NX70V) and found no real problem with it. Some slight cosmetic changes which may appeal to some. I am just very comfortable with 5.3, and prefer it cosmetically too. Have switched back. YiShow 5.3 is far and away the best launcher in my opinion. Lots of people seem to love ZLauncher...which is their opinion...I can't understand why though. I think ZLauncher is a horrible launcher. :) (subtle shot!)
