WinXP ZL skin (Paradas skin) Converted to LOW RES

I just finished converting the BlueXP originally made by Parada. All the buttons and styles work exactly like the high res version. It looks so good on a low res device. Im not going to upload it tho due to the fact that you have to pay for the high res version. If Parada allows me to tho, then I will upload it. Here is a link to a screenshot.

I would really like to post this skin for free, but I am not doing it (yet) because the original high res skin is not free. Im not sure if it would be right for me to post this skin for free, when its identical to a shareware skin. I have asked permission to do it from the maker (Parada) but have not received a reply yet.

I understand your point, but I'm pretty sure that Parada did not check with MicroSoft before releasing his shareware skin nor does he pay a royalty to MS for every copy sold.

If you decide to post a Hi-res version that would be great (as I indicated in my first post).

I now understand what you are saying when saying that quotation, but I took it to mean that you wanted me to post my converted low res BlueXP skin for free. Not the high res one.

I think its pretty wrong that you want me to just give away the skin. Its not fair to the people that bought the high res version so why would I actually post it for free? I was not even sure whether to post the low res version. But I did post it because I thought you were in your posts telling me that it would be ok if I did.

Well I got an e-mail from Parada, and sorry low res guys, I had to take the skin off ClieSource. Parada is considering tho selling it on palmgear.com so maybe you can buy it later.

My statement is still valid, Parada did not "invent/create" the "look and feel" of "his" XP skin, MicroSoft did.
Just because someone asks you to do something, doesn't mean you have to do it, that's why I said "Follow your conscience".
If you have the skill and talent to make ZLauncher themes, why not make an original one for every one to enjoy? :)

Clarification: This does not mean to ignore Parada now that he asked you not to post a copy of "his" Windows XP theme, but rather to ignore what other posters (me, in this case) ask you to do if you think it's wrong. Actually that's good advice for any situation :)

Hey Jonathan! Maybe you can ask Honolulu (Arnaud) if he will let you publish his "KDE for Zlauncher" theme in Lo-res 64k. I'm sure that he would give you permission. You do great work for us lo-rezzies, keep it up!
