hotsync problem with SJ30

I have had an SJ30 for about 6 months and have had no problems with my hotsync up until yesterday.

Now when I try to hotsync, I get the message "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established...."

I've tried hard reset, reload my software, etc. My USB connection is okay and properly configured on the hotsync manager.

Please help!

There are three common issues. The driver on the desktop is corrupted, the Clie's interface has failed or your over-clocking the Clie. It will have to be determined by finding which portion is bad by trying another Clie or trying the Clie on another known good system.

well i have only problem with hotsync over IrDA .. it's soooooooo slow on my clie sj30 .. is there any patch for it ? my old trg pro syncs a way faster ...

I had to re-install Palm Desktop...and now it works fine. But you might want to back-up all your data first. :p
