I recently bought both a nz and the wireless card cf. For the last three hours I have been downloading internet browsers and also the driver for my wl100. I downloaded the driver onto my memorystick, to save internal space. Now I am trying to adjust things in preferences under network, but the wireless lan doesnt appear as an option under service. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to have the driver in internal memory?
Thank you for any help, I really am stuck

The driver has to be in RAM....Netfront only works in RAM except for two conditions; on Memstick via Powerrun or in FlashRAM via Jackflash.

I have my Wl100 driver saved into the internal memory, but the wireless card still is not recognized under network. What am I doing wrong?

There is a tutorial "sticky" posted in the wireless forum. Follow the instructions in it and you should have success.

I hope this helps,
Now that I see there is a tutorial, it would have helped me... But
I had only a little trouble with mine.
The trick was that case mattered with the most of the settings. I also have noted that WIFI drivers sometime like to represent "keys" in HEX versus the ASCII equivalent.

In network prefs, look at service and tap on the drop down arrow and select wireless LAN. If it's not there, then the driver didn't install or that it isn't the right one for your Clies region.
