Locked UP

Good Morning.
I hope I can get a little help here this morning. I spend a very frustrating day with service on the LifeDrive I have. $15.00 not well spent. My lifedrive locked up on Monday so I did a reset. The Palm One screen came on and locked up again. Customer service started me on a hard reset and now the screen is again locked on the secure erase screen. I've pushed and pulled every button they suggested and then was told to ship it to them for $100 and pay $299 for the reset.

Any suggestions and help is needed and well appreciated.

I know customer service must have given you this info, but I find that just slowly working through reading a manual helps me most. So here are the official steps for the LifeDrive various "reset" options.
