Should I try LD update 2 on CF card?

I recently bought a Lifedrive that has a CF card instead of a MicroDrive. This is a unit that I have been longing for years. I would like to learn if there is a danger in using the "update 2" on this unit.

Most use the update to get a ROM image to flash. Check to see if you need the update on the update web page.

If the CF has been instaled with powerdrive dont reinstall update 2 or you are going to have some problems dificult to solve.
