Well, the WL110 has two lights instead of one.
The range specs are less on the WL110
The WL100 uses the intel prowireless chip set and can be used on laptop computer or a Pocket PC. Since the WL110 is all Sony, you may not get that extra feature.

Chances are, although the ranges are supposedly different, they are probably the same. I can only get up to about 75 feet with my WL100.
IMO, find a cheap WL100 instead of going for a more expensive WL110.

received my wl110 yesterday and finally got around to installing
quick test found a minimum of 75' for reception and that was by going downstairs out the back of the house to first the picnic table and then to the split rail fence behind it far enough for my needs

So I can put my WL100 into a PCMCIA adapter for a laptop?

That is the concept. I've yet to try it but the general understanding is -100 works in PC, also.
So, anyone got a favorite CF->PCMIA adaptor?
