Can you hot sync through the travel cable?

I just received my sena case, and it is great with one exception. To hot sync I have to completely remove the case. On the sena website it says you can "hot sync through travel cable." Is this possible?

Yes you can hotsync using travel cables.

Here are two kinds:

The first one has a hotsync button on the cable. The second, you need to run the hotsync app and initiate hotsync from there. Btw, both can recharge your NX while the computer is on.
