I purchased the Clie NZ90 because I thought I could view downloaded material such as music videos through it.
Is this possible? If so do I need to encode the video in any way? or can I only view videos that I record through the built in video camera?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
You can convert & install quicktime and MPEG videos using the Imageconverter software.
Simply attach your Clie to your PC using MS-Import. Then drag the video file over the Imageconverter icon. After it's done, the converted file is stored on your memorystick. Close MS-Import. I've gotten this to work several times.

MS Import is software that is pre-installed on the Clie. When running it, your Memory Stick will show up as a hard drive on your PC.

MSImport is a program that should already be on your NZ. But, you also need to install the companion program to your PC from the CD that came with the NZ.
What that will do (when you run both programs) is allow you to treat your memory stick as a removable disk from your computer. In my case, the memory stick shows up as drive M:.
Then, after you've converted your movie files to the correct format, copy them to your memory stick (into the GMEDIA directory) and then you can view them with your video player.
