SL10 battery life?

Anybody can tell how much does last the batteryes in an SL10?

Depends on the type of batteries. I use rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries, which last about 5-7 hours. Normal alkaline batteries will last significantly longer.

My SL-10 came with generic brand batteries. I lasted about 2 weeks before I needed to change them.

The 5-7 hours that I mentioned is the total on time, in a period of about a week or so.

With fully charged 750mAh NiMH and no backlight, it will last 6+ hours.

It will last 5+ hours with 50% backlight.

Could you please explain how you get 50% backlight on an SL-10?

Sorry for the confusion. I used a freeware application named BatteryLog to obtain the information. It was 50% of "Total on Time".

Have fun, I enjoy my SL-10 very much.

The 50% baclight means that the backlight was 100% on 50% of time. I mean each our the CLIE was on, 30' it was using also backlight at 100% (the only setting available.
