Problems with multiple Clie Hotsyncing w/XP

My wife and I have both owned Clies for about a year now (T615C and NX-60). We've yet to get BOTH machines to hotsync at the same time under Win XP. I suspect the problem lies with the multiple profile setup of Win XP.

We have seperate Palm Desktop installations directed, but only the LAST person to install the hotsync software is able to sync. I'm a long time Palm/Clie user, but have never been able to fix this problem.

Has anyone else had a problem hotsyncing 2 Clies with XP pro?

If i fix this, I'll be a hero at home. Thanks.

I have been using XP Pro at home and at work and I have been syncing two Clies at home and up to four at work. I have one installation of Palm Desktop for Clie and I sync all of then under one Windows user account (with administrator privileges). Each time I sync a different Clie, Palm Desktop asks which (palm) user I would like to sync via a drop down list.

Make sure in Palm Desktop that all your user names are EXACTLY the same as they are on your Clies.

Your problem may be related to an issue for which Sony has issued a patch....
