Last I heard, the T665 is considered "unsupported" as far as development goes. As far as sony is concerned... no software updates.

They already have, it's with updates and downloads for the NX on their support web site. It says it is only for the NX, but it works fine with my N and NR.

Works fine with my T615C too. :)

I've been happily using Palm Desktop 4.1 (downloaded from palm.com) with my T665C for over a year now. Works great!

Ditto here - with my SJ-30

I tried to install Palm 4.1 on my T665 and it didn't work at all. I had to start all over again an reinstall the Palm for Clie that came with my PDA. Perhaps I did something wrong. If so, can someone suggest a better way? Thanks.

For those who have gotten Palm Desktop 4.1 to work, were you on Windows XP?

You can download Palm Desktop 4.1 direcly from Sony Support:

http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/bin/support/support.cgi?whichone=1&installfile=nxpdt41.txt&downloadfile=NXPDT41.EXE&loc=2

It works on the TG, NZ, and NX. Haven't tried it though with the others.

Palm Desktop 4.1 works (for me) on XP and ME for the T-615.

Alright, it seems to work OK with Windows XP and a T665. It syncs things fine but I get an error message that says: "Unable to load synchronization DLL. Please click the OK button on Configuration dialog."

I just uninstalled Intelisync Lite and it seems to work fine.

A stupid question: While the Palm interface seems a little nicer, with a few more options, what real advantage is there to running 4.1 versus 4.0? I don't notice much of a difference.

The real attraction for me was that ANAction works only on Desktop 4.1, not 4.0. It's a plug in that lets you edit your Agendus data on th desktop.

To answer my own question, here is a link to a pretty darn good explanation of the Palm 4.0.1 software:

http://www.palm.com/support/downloads/palmdt_4_faq.html

Enjoy!

It's something like DiddleBuggery or BuggerMe :D

Last time I installed 4.01, I was able to pick and select what I wanted to be left out, including Expense and Note Pad. 4.10 should have the same option during installation... or you can hide actually right-click on the icon and hide it.
