Does anyone know the button combination or shortcut to determine which OS version is in a Clie?

I remember that a combination of button-pushing or a Grafitti shortcut causes the OS version to appear on the screen, but I have forgotten how.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know any shortcut, but there are several ways to find the OS version. The most common way is to go to the default launcher then tap Menu, Options, About Applications. Mine says v.4.1s.

I also have MegaLauncher4.3 that can give more detail info in the Test Center, including Device ID, Battery type, etc.

Just so you know, that doesn't tell you the OS version number. That tells you the version of the Applications Program. Otherwise, my NX70V would be OS4.5. It's not.

To get OS version, tap Menu, Info. Then at the bottom of the screen (where it says Version|Size|Records), select Version. It will say on the second line "Palm OS (R) software v.5.0" or whatever OS you have.

Cheers,
Scott

Right. My bad. I was about to correct it and you beat me to it.
