Palm Desktop 4.1, anyone?

How can I get this to work?

I installed the 4.1 beta and it was working fine. I wanted to try ANAction so I installed 4.1. Now nothing was hotsyncing...but PInstall still worked.

I've just uninstalled everything to start over...does 4.1 even work with the NR?

I'm using 4.1 and syncing just fine. I did have a bit of ado when I installed it, but it was a long time ago, so I don't remember exactly what I did. IIRC, the the first instillation wouldn't sync, so I went back and reinstalled the Clie version of Hotsync Manager, and all was well. I think by reinstalling from the Clie disk, it left Desktop 4.1 but replaced the Hotsync Manager. Sorry I can't be more explicit, but it worked for me, so maybe it's worth trying again.

there is a version 4.1 in sony's support pages (under NX). I used it and the installation went smooth. Never had any syncing problem with my NR.

the NR CD has 4.01

Just downloaded 4.1 this morning and it solved a problem with my NR70 not completing the hotsync EVER! Now it works every time. I can finally use Pocket Quicken again!

Good tip about version 4.1. it works fine and the link to the update works fine, too. Another vindication of the value of this site.
