Hi,
I got my T3 yesterday and I spent several hours looking through the "Must-have Apps" thread here.
Now I tried to install some which worked at first, but now I have run into a problem:
I installed FastCPU (it says on their site (http://www.getjar.com/products/1019/FastCPU/versions) that the T3 is supported) but I got an error saying the CPU is not supported. :(
Then I tried to uninstall it (/D), but the icon is still there and if I click on it, the Palm crashed with a "Fatal Alert: MemoryMgr.c,....".
What's worse, now if I install programs, I don't see the new icons any more and no matter what existing program I try to uninstall, the icon remains. That makes me think that FastCPU was not the cause of the problem, or was it?
What did I do wrong? Do I need to do a complete reset and start over?
Thanks in advance for your help!

FastCPU is a System add-on (think PC driver) that is loaded into the running system and just like on the PC you can not delete a running program. Do a Warm-Reset by pressing and holding the upper part of the Nav-Ring and poking the reset hole at the same time. This is like booting a PC into safe-mode, were no extra drivers/system addons are loaded/run. Now you can delete FastCPU. Now do a full boot by poking the reset hole.
Somethings you install maybe datafiles for apps, ebooks, pref-panels, hacks, drivers that may not show up in the delete list so you need a file manager like Filez to find them and delete them.
At this point it is best you do a Hard reset and start over. Hold the power button down while you poke the reset hole, wait until the Palm logo screen shows then release the power button, when asked to delete all data, press the upper nav-ring.
Most everything you download to install will have instructions on how to install and uninstall and how to use the product and any support files needed.
Do yourself a favor, go to Palm.com support and download and read the manual. Download and install the software updates.
Have fun with your T3, I use mine everyday.

I reinstalled almost everything and it seems to be working fine now. :)
