that the prē is but a prē-lude of things better things to come from Palm. By the end of the year we will all be clamoring for a prē, enamored by its prē-tty shell and prē-cocious performance.

A-prē prē launch those that can spring for a prē will be thanking themselves and those that can't will be kicking themselves as it will prē-eminently stand-out from its prē-decessors and competition alike.

Palm's prē-emptive strike at CES will be looked at in the future as a prē-amble of their future success and the product that established them as a player in the prē-carious smart-phone industry where prē-cautionary marketing can spell the death of companies that have a prē-dilection towards fluff...

Prē-ceding the release of the prē, most people that had been following the industry had prē-tty-much written-off Palm from the prior position of market prē-dominance. At this point, one cannot prē-clude anything, but one thing is certain, the prē is no prē-conceived notion of what the market wants, but rather a well-thought-out prē-cipitate of years of experience.

Palm has positioned the prē to prē-cisely fill what they perceive to be a void in the marketplace, between the iPhone and the G1. Leap-frogging past its prē-determined downfall, Palm can be expected to prē-dictably take-back market share from Apple and Microsoft.

Ah, Dmitry, you're no fun... The whole idea was to string together a bunch of incoherent statements that had the prē-fix: prē

Kinda like a bad pun...

How long did you write this post? ;)

It took about 30 minutes, and the use of the Wordbook dictionary on my iPod Touch...

I actually DID try to make it coherent, but wanted to do something fun.

Maybe they got the name from WikipediaIn compiler theory, Partial redundancy elimination (PRE) is a compiler optimization that eliminates expressions that are redundant on some but not necessarily all paths through a program. PRE is a form of common subexpression elimination (CSE). An expression is called partially redundant if the value computed by the expression is already available on some but not all paths through a program to that expression. An expression is fully redundant if the value computed by the expression is available on all paths through the program to that expression. PRE can eliminate partially redundant expressions by inserting the partially redundant expression on the paths that do not already compute it, thereby making the partially redundant expression fully redundant.
If Palm lose a lot of past customers through lack of legacy support but do not gain many new customers because of Android/iPhone competition then that last line may be fulfilled thereby making the partially redundant expression fully redundant

I am using Palms since 1999. I don't care about legacy apps (even if I use and used a lot). I am prepared to upgrade programs and data. They won't loose me as a customer. And I guess they won't loose much of the customer base (as most use just a few to none third party apps). :)
