MS IMPORT and CF driver

Has anyone been successful at using MS Import with a CF card. What other procedure is there to import files on to the cf short of getting a CF reader/writer for the PC? Also I read that some have been able to use the Audio player with the CF card...how did you do it. I tried everything, including copying the entier content of a my memory stick with the directory structure and all and it still does not work....

Hi there,

I believe the MS Import utility is not (yet?) supported by the CF Driver. Check out EruWare's FAQ at http://www.eruwarestore.com/cfscdcFAQ.htm . It answers most of your questions posted above.

I use audio player with my cf (sandisk 1GB) and it will see MP3's on the card in the MSAUDIO subdirectory IF memory stick masquerading is enabled. It MUST think the CF card is a stick for this to work.

Once MS masquerading is enabled it will NOT see MP3's on a memory stick even if one is installed using the "trick" of turning the power off and inserting a MS. The contenets of the MS will show up in the launcher but Audioplayer won't see any MP3's on the card.

Right, MS Import is not supported at this time for the CF card.

in the faq it tells you, you can install files to cf card via hotsync just change the destination to cf 2 hope that helps. :D

Right, HotSync is supported, but not MS Import :).
