When you choose to delete an application, the system finds and removes items that share the same Creator ID with this application.
However, some applications, intentionally or by a programming error, save items under a different Creator ID than their own; these items will remain on your device, occupying your precious handheld memory for good.

When using Uninstall Manager (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?prodID=46248) to remove applications, they will be completely deleted, including items saved under a different Creator ID.

Thanks for the reply.

"There is no need to open Uninstall Manager to completely remove applications!
Uninstall Manager automatically removes monitored items when using your default application launcher to delete applications. "
Is that mean that i could just use delete using the clie launcher or put the apps on trash bin on zlauncher but the uninstall manager will make sure everything has been completely removed?
Thanks

how can you identify the app that you want to remove but in other name? I want to remove the skin of my graffiti but it seems that I cannot remove it? It is a DOS_mode that I downloaded as a free software. It does not have pix then and I do not like the result?Furthermore, I already used FileZ. Thank you

You can look it up on the Palmsource database, please remember it's case sensitive.

To remove the skin, you'll need to do a warm reset.

Ok, very simple, you have to delete the application before it's loaded into the operating system. Once it's loaded, the operating system protects itself from crashing by locking the application.

By using the warm reset, it allows you to prevent the application from loading into the operating system. This way, it can be deleted without crashing the Clie.

You can do a warm reset, which is done by holding the page Up button while pushing in the reset button on the backside of the Clie with the pin from inside your stylus. This won't load anything so there will be no Virtual Graffiti area either. Hit Ctrl-H on the keyboard, go to the Clie Files(file manager), then you can delete the desired application. Afterwards, you then need to do a regular reset by using the little pin from inside your stylus to push the reset button in the backside of your Clie.
