PPI settings for plucker and SlovoED ?

I use SlovoEd V6.07 and the latest plucker developer beta build from www.plkr.org but i never be able to get SlovoEd working with plucker.

If i select "SlovoED" in the ppi application nothing works.

And if i choose "Custom" then i don't know the correct settings.

Has anybody some hints for this problem ?

Ask the SlovoEd developers for their lookup API. Or see if they have it on their website. This should help with figuring out the custom settings.

Here are my settings:

In PPI: Lookup Word in Custom
Name: SlovoEd
Select radio button: Clipboard

In SlovoEd:
Menu: Options: Resident
Select radio button: Use Clipboard to get text

In Plucker:
Menu:Options:Preferences:Lookup
Select radio button: Word lookup always active
Action:: Look up in PPI

A click of the word in plucker brings up the slovoed resident function, and the definition's there. A great way to read. Enjoy!

Sadly, this don't work for me. (I've tested this before)

But ... what are the correct

Command: CustomBase + settings ? (Found at the PPI screen)

I tested 0-8 but none of these settings make this word lookup work either.

I left it at the default of 0. These are the same settings I've used on my T3, TH55, and tapwave without any problems.
If it helps, I'm using plucker 1.8., slovoed 4.14, ppi 1.8.

You might try downgrading and see if that helps. Maybe the latest plucker or slovoed versions have unknown bugs.

PPI is responsible for the interface, and PPI has not signficiantly changed in years. Plucker just hands this off to PPI. (Do you have Plucker configured to use PPI when you tap, though? Menu | Options | Preferences | Lookup)

Yes. I've tried this PPI and slovoed thing for years and it never worked in any way.

Found the solution.

in PPI CUSTOM and then "Dictionary Engine" and NOT "SlovoEd"
