I would like to import my office's very large business contacts phones and addresses but I would not like to mix them with my personal contacts. Is there any palm software you can recommend that will do this that will keep my business contacts completely separate from the standard palm contacts?
Thanks in advance for you tips.

I think there's only one way to do it. That is to create a new category in your address book.

I keep work contacts in an Excel sheet, and use docs to go to read it. Will that help you...

Thanks for the reply.
I know that I can create a new categoy and keep them there but there are many business contacts with different categories and I would like to keep them separate from my own personal address book.
Does anyone know of any program to keep and additional separate address book?

Did you get one with your Clie on the CD... there was one for the NZ... but I use action names... but I do not know how or if you could import to make it easier on yourself. You may need to export from Outlook and import into something else... keep trying and asking... might try the Aps forum...

Becoz as far as I know, the Palm uses only 1 format for address book data and I think its Vcard. So its quite hard to separate your contacts in another app. But what you can do is, use two different address book program. Although all your contacts will be in both of the address book program, create different category for both programs. i.e. for your builtin address book, have categories like friens, family, leisure, buddies, girlfriends. On the other hand on your other address book(business) , create categories like partners,suppliers,banking,clients.... But just hope the categories for each address book wont show up in each other.

I think Williepalm & vansouza have the best suggestion . . . use an excel sheet to keep track of everything, then use a reader of some sort to view on your PDA . . .
I know of no program that keeps a separate database for the address book. . . (now if it was a calendar you were looking for. . . )
Good luck!
