FontSmoother highlighting

I fixed FontSmoother's highlighting support in the Treo Launcher. As before, highlighting doesn't work in all apps and in all color themes. I am trying to figure out the pattern as to which color themes it works with and which ones it doesn't.

I tried it just for kicks.. I still have highlighting problems, for instance, in Palm "prefs" using the default color scheme and utopia 16pt.

By "default", you mean "Basic"? On what device?

2.33c supports more of the built-in color themes:

I bet Kinoma Player does highlighting with a non-theme set of colors.

Basic color theme still gives highlighting problems with Prefs on a Palm TX.

I also use the Basic color theme but I don't have problems with FS. I am using the new Droid font. The highlighted item, shows with the letters in perfect white over the light blue.

Just downloaded the latest version :2.33d. When I tap 'more' Palm resets. This happens on TX and Treo 680

That's not the built-in Basic color scheme. The Basic color scheme has white backgrounds. At least on my TX it does.

I definitely have "Basic" color scheme selected, just confirmed. The background is white, I am not sure why it looks kind of bluish-grey in the attachment..

Well -- here is an interesting development. I did the following:
Deselected my Basic color scheme -- just chose a different one..
Re-selected the Basic color scheme.
Now, the background is a lot whiter than before and now the highlighting is fine. Alex, you were right. Not sure what state my Palm TX was in before, somehow it was in-between color schemes...

Working good on Centro, and now I can see the text I could not see before in some apps using a black theme. Very nice.

Yes! 2.33g works great for me on my 700p with SkinUI and Old Hatch's Shadow theme.

I am now having a problem which I did not have before (using TX). Sometimes, the bold font of Fontsmoother switches over to italics. In order to fix this , I have to switch in and out of an application.

Do you have an italbold font loaded?

I posted 2.33h with correct highlighting for the light blue highlight in the treo launcher.

THis happened with 2 fonts (at least):
Charter 15 aa ker
Utopia 16 aa italbold ker

To solve the problem, I had to delete FontSmoother and preferences and reinstall 2.33 e version.
Now, it is OK with the very same fonts as above

2. I am still a bit confused by the description of the problem. Can you describe it a bit more carefully? In which app, what text turned to italics?
