Joethc,
Use FileZ or other file utilities to change your mp3 files' attribute to "not read only". Then you can delete them.

Do you have the read only option checked in the CF Utility?
The other item is that when copied them from your PC, they were read only. You may then need to use an external card reader and use the desktop PC to remove the read only attribute and delete them.

When he said he couldn't over write the folder leads me to believe it was inadvertently changed to read only in the utility.

i cant change it with fileZ i dont know what youre talking about you cant change root folders what happened was i put the mp3s in the root folder, now when im at the file named palm before the audiofile and mqvroot is where the mp3s are. hmmm i need a card reader im thinking that sucks
movies take forever to convert from the ms!!is it gonna be that slow when i get a reader?
for some reason the cf card not being able to delete seems really odd

Did you check the CF Utility to make sure that the read only box is unchecked?
No, a card reader is a lot faster by far :)

use a card reader, they are very cheap now, and it is a lot easier.
