tomtom 6 won't run on a T5. And cleanstart/umdh won't help. (As i has heard.)

Just to confirm what Another Michael said. I couldn't get TT6 to run on T5 even with udmh. Others may have managed it. TT5 runs well

TomTom 5 or ViaMichelin 4.2 both run on the T5
How up to date the maps are is entirely another question - a couple of years old at the very least. :(

ViaMichelin 5 also run on a T5 but the company is out of PDA navisoftware business and they also don't want to sell their latest product anymore. Their online shop is closed. The latest maps i've got are from 2004/5 (europe).
Before they closed their shop there was a "ViaMichelin Edition 2007" available (with maps from 2006 i think), but also this version isn't buy-able anymore. I have searched for it and emailed ViaMichelin for a distributor but with no success.

I know viaMichelin still sell their own PND's and it is still possible to buy their PDA software for example as part of a car kit with a Tungsten E2 and Kirrio cradle but the software is usually v.3 so its probably old kit.
I did not know there was (is) a Palm version of vM 2007 - I have the PPC version but have never seen one for the Palm OS.
Have you looked at the Gamin mobile 10 GPS software? I see it being used on devices under v.5 Palm OS.
