View Full Version : Opera Mini problem with LD

I use Opera mini 4.1 with my LD & it works fine but I have a problem downloading files from inside OM
I get to the save file and push save LD freeze
Any fix to this one?

do you have another browser that supports downloading? from my experience, opera exits and feeds the dl link to your other browser to dl files.

Since I freed up a whole bunch of dbCache using nuROM Blazer now downloads OK for the first time since I bought my LifeDrive in 2005!

I've been trying Opera Mini 4.1.11355 with IBM JVM J9 2.2.14 for the last few days and with FontSmoother and its pretty good ... but I am finding its crashing more than Blazer.

Perhaps I'm not giving the JVM enough memory (I've got it limited to 4MB and a Stack of 8Kb)? I do have "double buffering" on and "high resolution co-ordinates"

I reinstall all blazer files I Ram and still nothing hapend when I push "Download File"
Can someone confirm downloading works?

I confirm too that downloading works since Opera Mini 4.1 Beta up to 4.2 Beta. You must install JSR75 and not to be behind NAT. Otherwise downloading does not work.

I'm behind NAT and download works...

I am not 100% sure but when I am behind NAT it does not work. If I am connected via PPP connection to computer with public IP address then everything works.

I must apologise. I tried it again and I can download from behind NAT now. But I could swear it did not work approx. 2-5 months ago. I do not quite understand what happened but it really works. :confused: :)

Another Dmitry PowerApp to the rescue!! Go figure it was that all along! The first day I had my LD, Blazer worked fine. After that it never downloaded again. I also never used it again!! haha!

I made some tiny mods to my dbCache using nuROM for LD, so I'll have to test it again. ;-)

NetFront has been my browser of choice for everything. I also have a downloader program that is independent of any browser.
