Get the Palm OS Command Bar back and take full control of it. Set the way of poping up, changing timeout, managing icons.

Application Description
1) Popup command bar by holding menu key or pressing shift+menu or pressing some other custom key.
2) Enable navigation let the 5-way key functional on command bar.
3) Timeout controls the display time of command bar pops up, being navigated and showing command feedbacks.
4) Up to 4 icons can be added to command bar to launch applications, control panels or DAs. Select 'R' button to add an icon to the right.


This app is an alternative to cmdway + iconcmd. It registers a procedure (fast) hede in order not to slow down the system speed.

Todo list:

1) Close cmdbar before apps launch
2) Use "enter" button to run app in cmdbar
3) Customize the icons of apps in the cmdbar
4) Hold any button to popup cmdbar

Yes, you miss the cmdbar navigation feature, and this app is much smaller than apt+cmdway+iconway.
Sorry, I retracted my previous post as you explained yourself already above..
But this link in the previous post does not seem to download anything?

Well, this link works well for me.

Rename CommandBar_0.5.4.txt to CommandBar_0.5.4.zip.

differences:
only 3 apps instead of 4
no timeout control
no popup manager (pair with FieldPlus (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=89468) to do it and get benefits of fieldplus :D )

It is also familiar to CMDway, and this is a shareware, heh

And the previous link works in my FireFox3
