I got my TH55 used from eBay a couple weeks ago and just today got my WLAN unit. I'm trying to operate it from TP-LINK USB pendrive 108Mbps wireless LAN using "ad hoc" method. My intention were to use this wireless LAN pendrive to access internet using my Clié.
It seems to be that my TH55 will identify that my network exists - but for some reason it can never connect. I am following instructions provided with my handheld to connect to WLAN. I have this sinking fear that maybe my handheld has malfunctioning Wi-Fi. But I have beamed to and from using its infrared, although initially it refused my beams and went through random contortions acting like I had pressed random buttons. Once I brought my SJ-30 near and accepted the TH55's beam, it seemed to had corrected its disorientation and I haven't had any sort of repeat.
Does anyone understand what I am going through?
