anyone ever see a hotsync plug that converts to an audio jack?

would help people who:

Broke their audiojack on their TX
Cant plug 3.5mm earphones into their Treo's (cough* Centro) :)
Feel that their audio plug is to fragile to stick a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter in

I've seen microphones for the hotsync plug, never seen audio ones

(got the idea after pluging Centro into a T|X cradle just to use headphones ;) )

EDIT*- Found a picture of one, but still cant find one for sale:

The TX has audio input pins on its connector port but no audio output pins.

Negativo,
I can confirm that my Docking station for my TX that has a working audio out jack on it (on the dock), and only connects to the TX using the Hotsync plug, thus The TX does have audio outputs pins

but where O.O...

My bad. You are correct. the pins on the connector for L and R audio out are pins 14 & 15 or 11 & 12, depending on how you are counting.

Is there any advantage to those pins, as far as the power of the output, or is it just hardwired to the output similar to the speaker on the back.

no advantage, decent
more advantage, Great
less advantage, why bother then :D

I know Tech Center Labs makes a headset for the multi-connector with stereo headphones and a boom mic.

The L and R pins on the TX's connector are of course for left and right stereo. They MAY be the same as the pins going to the TX's audio out jack, I don't know.

They cannot be the same as the connections going to the internal speaker simply because the internal speaker only has two terminals and thus is a mono audio device, as most all individual speakers are. Both the L and R signal lines need to work against Analog Ground and not against each other, therefore connecting L and R to the two terminals of a single voice coil speaker would work very poorly.
