Rename Tab in launcher

I was searching for a thread about renaming the tab in the launcher, but can seem to find it anywhere.

Can someone give me an idea on how you organise your apps in your clie by giving a list of tab you have?

I have sooooo many apps that I don't know where to start.

It's funny how a clie is suppose to keep you organize while it's all messy inside....:rolleyes: :D

My tabs are:
Unfiled - I keep this empty to display the full beauty of my backgrounds in ZLauncher. With McPhling and ZL's Favorites tool, this is my primary tab.
Applications - General apps that aren't assigned to buttons, like Acrobat reader, BDicty, Bible Thumper, MyBible, HandyShopper, etc., etc. 33 apps total today.
Utilities - General utility programs like BBVFS, McFile, PiDirect II, T'Catalog, X-Master, etc. 27 apps total today.
Stars - All the Star Pilot Advanced apps--9 apps.
Clie - All the Sony apps that came w/my T665C that I haven't deleted w/JackSprat, including some from the CD--8 apps.
System - The standard Palm system apps like Hotsync, Prefs, Security, etc., plus ClockFix, JackFlash, and JackSprat--7 apps
Games - Not many here--10 apps.
Memory Stick - Automatically created by ZLauncher, provides direct access to all files on my MS.
All - Another automatically-created tab. 115 apps here today.
Palm - All the built-in Palm apps that I haven't removed w/JackSprat. 6 apps.
Unused - A hidden tab that contains all the jetsum--apps assigned to buttons, purely support apps for other programs, libraries that insist on dispaying in the launcher, etc. 15 apps.

I also have a lot of apps (see my software page), but this arrangement allows me to avoid scrolling in any one tab (small icons w/tiny bold font arranged 5 x 7 icons in the tabs), and also to have the maximum of 10 tabs (set to icon only) in ZLauncher w/o having to scroll the tabs either. My theme--no scrolling to get to tabs or apps, except in All and MS.

Although this is my ZLauncher setup, a similar arrangement can be used in most launchers. My ZLauncher tabs pretty much match my categories in the default launcher as well.

This depends on which launcher you are using. In the built-in, just tap on the category, then Edit Categories... You can rename categories from there. Most third-party launchers have a Tab or Options on their menus, or tapping and holding on individual tabs sometimes brings up their configuration dialogs.
