Bluetooth headsets

is there any mod or program that allow LD connect to a mono or, even better, bluetooth headset?
Google didn't found any :(

The LD BT will work with most BT headsets. Just pair them like normal BT device.

A Google search for "palm bluetooth headset" gets 2,770,000 hits, the 10 one "How to Configure a Bluetooth Headset to Palm (http://www.ehow.com/how_2076572_configure-bluetooth-headset-palm.html)" is a dummies guide.

I've been using Anycom BSH-100 Bluetooth Stereo headphones with Softick Audio Gateway on my LifeDrive for a couple of years on my lifedrive...since the beta versions of Softick :-)

Earlier versions lost the connection to the headset frequently...but now it is much better...but not perfect. Its a known problem...something to do with how the IDE / CF interface "interupts" the LifeDrive processor (its mentioned on the Softick site as only applying to LifeDrive and they've given up trying to fix it).

BTW The headphones sound good and have great batterylife and easy to recharge (mini USB connector).

Also I think there is a (very slow) memory leak somewhere - either in Softick, the LifeDrive BT stack, or the headphones themselves...because the drops do get worse with time.

Also those particular headphones don't do a very good job of handling being connected to a phone (the headphones has a Mic) and the LifeDrive at the same time.

But...since I bought all this stuff in 2005 when it was VERY new...it works OK.

When I do a technology refresh in a few years I'm sure it will work perfectly!

I use the Softick Audio Gateway and the Jabra BT8010. They have a great deal at new egg for the BT8010...right now for $20.99US! I bought 2 to replace the old one I just shorted after using for the past ~2years. You can find it here:

Great headphones and also great voice headset for the Treo. It has an OLED screen, a2dp, avrcp, etc. Oh, and it vibrates if you get a call. I wonder if there is a way to use the LifeDrive with the headset and iskoot (skype) over wifi...hrm....
