I am using Mundu IM, but when the screen goes off, so does WIFI.

Does anyone know how to keep WIFI on when the screen turn itself off?

Thanks

The screen display can be turned off with the device still active (like when in ptunes or aeroplayer).

Maybe you could take a look at HandyAid (http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/Enhancements/HandyAid-7382.shtml)

I havent tried it yet, but wfi has it's own preference idle time setting. ( for my TX )

If your lucky just going to palms preference changing wifi timeout will be enough.
So wont need additional software.

I just tried HandyAid. It's pretty neat and complex. So far it seems to be doing what I need -- and a lot more. Thanks. But when I click the on/off button, all goes off. I can't figure out how to keep Mundu/WIFI on when I turn my Palm off.

Now, I found out that the WIFI program that comes with the TX is provided by DeviceScape, but it's a few years old, and apparently they don't support Palm anymore. http://www.devicescape.com

Does anyone know of another company that has a WIFI program for Palm?

Thanks a lot.

I use Mundu. I'm pretty sure that option is in Mundu itself. I know because I have had the screen off and heard the Palm beep because of Mundu. I'll check, though. Maybe I'm wrong...

I contacted Mundu. This feature is not in it yet. But they said they would look into it for their next release.
