Hi all
After a considerable time of usage and exploring it's capabilities. I found that the only capability that I actual use is to keep the Graffiti/Dia hidden when running certain applications.
I was wondering if there was an application that does just that, or may be to automatically hide the graffiti after a few seconds of in activity. So that it defaults to hidden dia.
Apt has a lot more things I have not explored that may realize it is best for what I want.
thanks

DisplayManager may do this, the latest version

Yep, DisplayManager (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=127774) does that and more. That's yet another "pay app" that I bought and soon replaced with Apt. I wanted all that Apt does (at least what I have made it do for me), but if you just want to control the Screen Format, DIA, Statusbar, and Graffiti then DisplayManager is for you.

If you already have APT, you can buy display manager, but I wouldn't. Like Scott, DM was one of the many apps that APT replaced on my device.

Thanks guys.
Display manager seems like good substitute. I will try it later, right now I apt light is ok, except when you set the *default* to -dia and leave the dia open. It will do a cycle of up-down when switching between applications.
It is ok for me, just wondering if it's bug.
thanks again

prysm / fernan, just a suggestion to help you get more out of Apt-
For the majority of what you want to do w/the DIA, statusbar, etc., in terms of status; make that the setting in *default* & then tap on *default* & a list of apps will pop up, choose whichever app you wish to have a diff setting & make that setting alone (or others if you wish).
There are great resources on the Apt wiki: apt-palm.wikidot.com, across the top are headings that are a collection of individual sets of documentation & along the left side is a set of guides that are tutorials, examples, & how-to's. These resources have been updated & provided me w/much help.
You may have had Apt for x number of months, but if you didn't get more benefit than control of DIA & graffiti, & didn't have the chance to learn more, then you only had it for one month; & I think that it is unfortunate for you.
I am disappointed on your behalf. I am not a programmer, but I came to learn it & love it & hope you too can also come to appreciate more if not all Apt can do. I have gained a lot in terms of the total capabilities of Apt & use it to my advantage every time I have used my TX & now my Centro.
There are user forums up on the wiki where you can ask for help & get it. Take a moment to download the latest version 1.3b2, which is quite stable & has many fixes. Just be sure to write down all of your AptDB settings, i.e. any setting you made in any screen & upgrade to 1.2 if you haven't yet. Then upgrade to 1.3b2. There are instructions in the posting for 1.3b1, by the author, Pent, who is a great developer.
I use the same screenname on the wiki, & I hope to see you there...
