Can anyone tell me how ZLauncher tells the difference between say a Tungsten and a HiRes Clie? Getting a theme not availiable, also how does ZL tell between say OS4 skin and OS5 skin?

The Tungsten|T uses Double-Density .... even though it says HiRes ..... where the Clie does use HiRes from what I can gather. When you compile ZLauncher Themes to execute there different settings (with the program I use). With an OS5... it is double-density and does some compression(I believe). With Sony Clie's ... there is no compression given.

As an instance .... a skin I produce for 320x320-Clies is 217k in size. The same skin, using the same exact Graphics ends up being 238K.

Big Difference in size .... and that is how it compiles it to run.

Normally if you create a double-density Theme for the T|T ... it won't work on the Clies ... and if you create it for a Clie ... it won't work on other OS5 Devices. I'm not sure who is the standard. Probably Sony is the oddball compared to the rest of the market.... but I'm sure someone could tell us who is what.
