Well my palm T/X have is haveing some problems. Yesterday when i was going to use it the palm wont go on, its like if the battery run out, so i wait until come back to my home and charge it but in the road i can use it again but at my house again the palm went dead. After all the night long charging when i was going ot use it again wont turn on, so i try many times again until it comes on.
Is this a problem with the T/X or my pilot is damaged.
Thanks

It is NOT a normal problem with the TX. You may have a software problem or a hardware problem. To find out which it is you must do a hard reset. then before you do a sync or any kind of a restore of your software you should operate the TX for a few days and see if it works. If it does work then you can safely assume that your problem was caused by software, which you will then have to figure out which program is the bad one. But, if it still has this problem after doing a hard reset and no sync or restore then your problem is a hardware problem.

One simple thing to try: you can track down if the Palm is being turned on automatically without your knowledge by some rogue software.
This application will record all the turn on/offs that occur:

I would first make sure your power button is working correctly, and if the palm responds to soft resets.
If the palm is not respond to poking the small button in the back of it (above the speaker), you can most likely rule that your battery is malfunctioning.
If it does respond and reset when you press the reset button, then your more likely dealing with software issues.
The power button on the T|X is notorious for not working correctly, a good (but rudimentary) way of making it work is by putting your lips over the power button and blowing into it, forcing air (and moister) under the button.

Another possibility to look into: If you have a case (or what-ever you device is kept in) that touches the screen then: It is possible that the device is coming on normally (say to sound an alarm or perform a daily backup), but since something is touching the screen it will never turn off, until the battery is drained.
