I heard that the new NZ has Picsel Viewer for viewing Word and Excell documents without converting them.
Does anybody tested these utils?
Can anyone upload these utils from their CD to test them?
thanks

A few samples have been distributed for review by Sony over the past couple of days.

Now that Sony made a licensing agreement with Picsel Technologies, I just really hope that Sony will give NX users an update to include the Picsel Viewer as well. If Sony could also use the other products of Picsel Technologies such as the Picsel Browser for landscape internet browing and the Picsel Messenger, that will be cool for Clié product line.

To find out more about the Picsel Technologies, go to this link:

It is almost 2 months now and I guess your hope (and many NX user's hope) is gone. My thought is Sony will not release this so as to make their new products attractive.

It can work on NX units if you look hard enough

Well, that's just cryptic.... Early on it was tried to no avail. Is there a secret Picsel2NX society out there?!!!

I had try it on Word documents with diagrams and excels it's like Powerpt. But i had not yet try PPT as i use quickpt instead.

Seems like I remember reading somewhere that if you create a "Picsel" folder within the PowerRun directory on your memory stick, then install all of the Picsel files directly into the newly created folder using MSImport or whatever, then refreshing the display in your launcher, it should work like a charm. Haven't tried it though.

i try the powerpt it is more stable than quickpoint but too bad it does not support chinese word. what a waste!!!

Just to share, the piscel viewer and all file are in the ms with the help from ms import and powerrun 1.2.
