Does anyone know if BigClock works fine on the Treo 755. It's a nice older clock program so I'm not sure if there are problems with its alarms and the NVFS.

Same here. I read somewhere that BigClock is not compatible with Treo.

Are you looking for an alarm clock, or just a "clock"? If you're looking for just a clock, try BigClockDA (http://supertruckersites.com/?p=9) which is a DA of a "Big Digital Clock".

If you're looking for a really good alarm clock, I recommend Belltime Alarm Clock (http://www.steilberg.eu). Belltime is shareware, with limited functionality as freeware, but well worth it!

I use BigClock on my iQue as an alarm clock and as a timer. Since I'm gradually moving to my Treo as the PDA that stays with me I'm looking for one for the Treo. I'll try Belltime.

Also try PlamaryClock. It's got great clock skins, timers, stopwatches and alarms. There is even a version specifically produced for Troes

I tried the free version of Belltime without success; I can't get any sound out of it. I set sound to Midi with Start vol of 8 and end vol of 9 and when I "check it" all I get is the circle, no sound.

I'm not even going to try this program as the install program show the .prc file to be 860K which is ridiculous for a clock program.

Have you tried watchmaker?

I recently bought Palmary Clock Wireless and love it. I would rate it as one of the top ten programs I've ever trialed or purchased and I've tried quite a few. It does so many things. I also think BellTime is a good alarm and use the freeware version for standard alarms. There is also an app called 2PlayMe from Metaviewsoft that is good.

If you can't get any sound, are you using any preference apps, such as Apt (http://dinglisch.net/) to automatically shut off your sound? You might check that first...?

I'm embarrassed. Yes, I had the switch on the Treo set to vibrate. Thanks.

How does Watchmaker compare to BellTime?

Same, same but different :D

First there was WatchM (steilberg.eu/pda.htm) 320x320 only, no stopwatch, no wake up to music or launch app and, I think, it was/is the best out there. Very popular :)

BellTime is an expansion of WatchM it has the above features missing from WatchM and gets better all the time plus it's a chance for the author to make some well deserved $s ;)

All the best, woz of oz

That was my thinking as well, so I bought the registered version of BellTime as I hope Palm developers don't abandon us.
