DTMF beta test

This OS 5 test application produces DTMF (Touch Tone(tm)) sounds on a Tungsten T:

I've heard that the Sony sound manager works differently. So what does this test application do on a Sony NX unit?

I just ran the program on a NX70.
I used the number 123456789 as the input string
No sound was generated and I got the following error:

An error occurred in the
application you are
using.

Note the error code and
contact the developer
of this application.
(Sys 0505) (0,1115)


Hope this helps. It would be nice to have this feature on the Clie.

Another program is tonedial. It works on the tungsten now and they say they are working on the clie. I can't wait since supernames has tonedial support. Find a address, press the phone number, hit dial and hold your clie up to the phone.... sounds great to me... I just hope they release the clie version soon!

works on my T615C; it's not supposed to work under OS 5, but I don't know...

hotpaw, that one does not work on the NX either. However, it did not lockup.
