So does anyone have the BC10? Looks like a external battery back that uses 4 AA batteries.

Yep, I have it. I also like it. You can use it to extend battery life(while on a plane), or use it to charge the internal battery. Very good if you have a long flight and you're reading a novel on your Clie.

I have it and like it too. Comes in Handy.

I also have one, and it works really well with NiMH AA. :)
Since the internal NX70v battery is rated at 1000 mAh, 2000 mAh AA will give about twice the battery life. In some informal test I've found this to be true in high draining applications.
However the battery life is much shorter if the battery pack is used to charge the internal batteries.

Is the connector for the pega-bc10 changeable? Which means can we change the connector in case sony comes out with a new connector for a new model
