it's the large capacity of memory only for large data files.like mpeg movie.why!!!

No it's not only for large files, it just doesn't support Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 music format. You would have to ask Sony why it uses copy protection and hides how it's down.

Sony didn't say why, just that the MS Pro Magic Gate doesn't work on the current Clies. On other devices it may, one reason is the device may have to be native to the MS Pro. For now, it is not native to the current crop of Clies and requires the MS Pro driver to be downloaded from Sony Support.
