hi,
after reading all the good things here about zlauncher, I decided to try it on my clie 665. it worked as advertised & I was impressed but that is my test, not my day-to-day handheld.
so, prior to purchasing zlauncher, i tried it out on my 615 & it seemed to be OK until i renamed the "card" category which is named -card- by default - i gave it an icon & called it MS (for memory stick).
i'm not sure if this happened right away or not but i no longer can view programs, etc. of my MS. whenever i choose the "-card-" tab (i renamed it after the problem), it merely shows what was in the previous tab i was viewing. further, the scroll bar doesn't work & the popup toolbars on the bottom don't work (if the large toolbars are up, they don't go down) when i'm on that tab.
if i go to refresh, the screen goes blank for a second & then i am returned to the "all" tab.
i am currently using version 3.01 which worked well on my test unit although i began with a later version & felt maybe that was the problem. fwiw, i also use pitech which i own.
i uninstalled the entire zlauncher program but when i reinstalled it the same problem reoccurs.
is there anything i can do? if i need more draconian measures such as doing a hard reset on my unit & beginning from scratch, will that help? if so, which files in my backup directory should i delete (i'm assuming only the ones i know i installed)?
