Hotsync

Ok, I'm fairly computer savy, but this one boggles my mind. If I hotsync via a bluetooth connection, everything works fine. If I hotsync via the provided usb cable, I get the notorious Winblows "blue screen of death."

Has anybody else ever had this problem, and if they figured out what was causing the problem, how did they fix it?

Second issue, I told the Palm Desktop to not synchronize anything, except the PIM stuff. Whenever I hotsync, though, it synchronizes everything, taking a particularily long time synchronizing the freaking Addit junk. How do I get to only synchronize my PIM stuff, and not every application on my device. After all, do I really need to synchronize Bejeweled 2 or Coreplayer??

If you can't tell, I've had devices for quite awhile, but am fairly new to hotsyncing!

Ok, nevermind, I missed the checkbox under "Custom" (in the Palm Desktop) that said "Set as default".

I did, it worked beautifully! I guess this thread could be dropped, really, I think the BT hotsync is quicker anyhow. Now that I figured out that check box in the custom hotsync setup, it only takes about 30 seconds to do!
