Okay I need a new contacts program, I have done some searching but still cant find what I am looking for. I dont need anything fancy, but here is what I would like/need:

A way to change the way it sorts. Having just company/last name, Last Name, First Name sucks.

BT dialing a must

thats it. What are my options? Freeware is great, but I have no problems paying for good programs.

TealPhone does not support full screen :( sucks when you have a large contact list.

I had it on my TX last night as a trial and I could not drop the DA.

Take a look at Address XT. I used this on my TX. It has some nice features.

Thanks Jerry, I just tried it out and it fits the bill but man is it buggy. when you try to enter a search letter like "L" or "R" or "D" it comes up double. "LL" etc. I tried turning global search settings on and off, using the DA keyboard etc. So until the developer fixes these errors its not going to work.

Have you tried Agendus, they have an integrated contact manager that comes along with Task and Calendar.

It definitely supports full screen.. NOt sure what happened in your case, you better ask the company...

I haven't used the app, but if by "could not drop the DA" you mean it has a Desktop Accessory mode, then that will be true when using that function. By their nature, DA's cannot use full screen. Launching the standard app however, should be full-screen.

I think he meant the DIA but I might be wrong.

Ah, yes... That's more likely the case. As RRD used to say, "Nevermind"...

I like Address XT, too, but found a wierd bug yesterday. I selected a buddys name and clicked on his email address to send him an email via Snapper. A window popped up that said "Select EMail address:" and listed both of his phone numbers... wierd!
