Palm TX IR disabled by UnCache?

Hi!

Since installing Uncache on my TX, my IR port is no longer working.

I was wondering if it was somehow possible to use Uncache while still having a functionnal IR port. Is there something I should add to the Uncache list?

I own a TX and a T5 and in both devices the IR aren't deactivated by uncache (or cleanstart).

On my Centro i have got this issue of a "lost IR interface". I resolved it by a "backup-hardreset-rewrite backup" sequence.

its an OS bug. it is[was]documented on palmsource knowlegebase, and there was a utility to fix it. Use the "search feature" of the forum!!

Everything is fine now, after I reinstalled from a backup. It's perfect now. I wonder what was happening?

Why would I program for an os that is essentially a tcp/ip stack + a webbrowser + web apps. where do i fit in there? I hate web apps, and i do not like developing webbrowsers either
