1) Smartlist - as noted before on the forum, Dataviz do not seem to be very interested in upgrading their offering to HR+ (I am looking for 320x480 and small font support, equivalent to using Fonthack with the OS4 version of Smartlist. They sent me a URL to log feedback; if any one else out there is as frustrated as me, perhaps they could send feedback too.
"Hi Simon,
Thank you for your continued support of SmartList To Go! Currently, we do not have any immediate plans to update the SmartList To Go program with the features you mentioned however we would like to hear your feedback and suggestions. Please submit any feedback to our database at the
following URL: http://www.dataviz.com/eforms/feedback/generalfeedback.html
This information is stored and reviewed by our engineering team so they will be aware of your requests when evaluating the program. I hope this helps."
2) Cesinc tell me that they are going to produce a standalone version of Quicksheet for OS5 "soon".
In the meantime, I have checked out the new version of QS under Quickoffice Premier. This uses Fontbucket to deploy smaller fonts. However the one font I cannot find is the one that equates to using the smallest font that Quicksheet OS4 uses. I guess it could be described as the native font but size 6 rather than size 9. (Interestingly Tinysheet offers this, but suffers from a very irritating screen refresh). I have checked the Fontbucket site with no immediate luck. Any ideas?
Sorry for such a detailed grumble, but after six months I am still having to use my creaky old NR70V as my main PDA in preference to my NX70.
