If I remove my fully charged NX-60 from the cradle and return it to the cradle 12 hours later that day without ever turning it on, the red charging light goes on and it takes up to about 1/2 hour for the charging light to go off.

If I turn on the NX-60, the battery indicator does not show any loss of charge even though it appears to be taking additional charging. I leave my memory stick in all the time.

Is this normal for the NX-60 to lose some charge every day without turing it on? Anyone have any idea how many days it can go without any charging when not in use before it loses all of its charge?

Thanks.

Yes, it's normal, not to worry. Todays Lithium-Ion batteries have a plethora of electronics to protect them, including a built-in microprocessor. Batteries typically lose a couple percent each day to maintain the Clie's memory. You should be good for at least a couple weeks if you don't use it.

totally normal. like n2ifp says, the Li-ion batteries are intelligent and when you place the clie on the cradle, it goes through a process of determining what the battery needs, and when it is sure it's charged it turns off.
