Can the NX voice rec. record voice while an mp3 is playing like Kareoke?

i am a musican who frequently records ideas for songs on my little voice memo recorder while driving etc. when i get home to put the recorded lyrics to music the "feel" of what i was aiming to do at the time often gets lost in the transition, as it is only an acapella. i am in need a small recording device that would enable me to record both voice and instrumental at the same time. it would be even better if it were intergrated into a device that i already carry with me at all times like a pda or cell phone. is the nx capable of this? i know that you are able to save voice files onto the on-board memory, but will this work with an mp3 playing? thanks for your time.

Sorry, it's not possible. As soon as you try to record, the Clie goes into a monitor mode for the voice recorder.
