I have a used 680 coming to me. I am not getting the disk, what applications for the "phone side" come on the disk that I should look for a substitute for, or buy a copy of? I have a T-5 and the basic palm desktop and OS5 appears to be the same.

You will got an updated version of the Palm Desktop along with the conduits that necessarily to synchronize the programs. Also included in the disk are others apps like audible audio, bejeweled, Handmark solitaire, ereader, ebooks, and documents to go version 8 desktop conduit. I think it will be better if you will get this program for your treo if you will regularly sync your treo with your desktop.

Did you understand there is no disk?
I was asking what applications specific to Treo phone use come on the installation disk.
I HAVE a T5 disk, and I am not real excited about ebook readers and solitare games that expire anyway. I think the only program you mention is audible audio which I am not familiar with. Are there other phone utilities I am seriously going to miss?

No, you won't miss anything and you can download the palm desktop specific to the 680 from Palm's website if you need to.
