Hello, I know that with Missing Sync, the NX works with OSX but I was wondering if anybody has gotten the NX to work under OS9.x?
I read on other threads that you can use the current mac Palm Desktop to sync the data off the clie but you would need Missing Sync to do the itunes and memory stick mounting.
Then is it possible to use a sony digital cam to mount and transfer files manually instead of using Missing Sync?
Thanks!

yes, you can use a card reader to mount a memory stick on the desktop in either os version. you can then add, delete, or transfer files around that way. one big problem is with mp3 transfer to the memory stick. by transfering them directly without using the conduit from missing sync, you end up with two files for each mp3 on the memory stick (you only see one in the desktop folder). one of the files is the actual file and the other is something else (i think something to do with the mac icon set) and that file will cause the audio player to stop since it is not a valid audio file. you then have to go in and delete all these little files from the memory stick in the clie to make it work well.
